emew is hiring a Technical Support Specialist in Mexico City to lead hands-on testwork for customers across the Americas.

The role
You will be emew's technical presence in the Americas lab. You'll run testwork on customer solutions, turn results into clear technical reports, and support the Regional Sales Manager, Americas, with customers from first sample to commercial decision. You'll work closely with our R&D laboratory team in India and with Engineering.

Reports to: Regional Sales Manager, Americas
Travel: Up to 50% (valid passport required)

What you will do
- Plan, run and record bench-scale electrowinning tests on customer solutions, on schedule
- Analyze results and write clear, accurate technical reports for customers and the sales team
- Join customer meetings and site visits to understand feeds, process conditions and requirements
- Give technical input to sales opportunities and proposals
- Work with the R&D team in India on test methods, results review and shared workload
- Keep lab equipment, consumables, safety practices and sample records in order

What you bring
Required:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or a related field
- 2+ years of hands-on laboratory experience
- Professional English, written and spoken
- Valid passport and availability to travel up to 50%
- Team player with careful documentation habits

Desirable:
- Metallurgical, hydrometallurgical or electrochemistry lab experience
- Background in mining, wastewater treatment, chemical plants or R&D labs
- Familiarity with analytical methods (e.g. AAS, ICP, titration)
- Experience supporting customers or technical sales
