Copper
Copper is a valuable metal that's integral to the success of low-carbon technologies. Our emew metal recovery process uses clean technologies to recover copper from multiple waste streams, reducing resource scarcity whilst supporting your ESG commitments.

Our purpose-built solution uses proprietary metal digestion and electrowinning methodologies to efficiently recover copper from a wide range of solid and liquid waste streams, including e-waste, lithium-ion batteries, copper refinery bleeds, industrial wastewater, metal scrap, aqua regia spent solutions, pickling and etching baths and other waste byproducts.

Instead of diverting valuable resources to landfill, the output is a high-purity copper cathode with little to no metal waste, creating a valuable resource for reuse or resale, and a cost-effective, closed-loop solution for metal recovery.
Silver
Silver recycling and recovery are critical to meet the increasing global demand for silver, which cannot be met by mining production alone. Using emew’s clean technology solutions, our customers can produce silver on-site, with recovery rates well over 99% as a directly saleable product without the need for costly cementation and recycling to the process.

At emew, we use a series of processes including innovative digestion and electrowinning methods that reject impurities. This allows high purity silver powder (typically .9999+) to be recovered from a variety of solid and liquid waste streams, including e-waste, silver or gold dore, electrical contacts, silver refinery bleed, wastewater, solar panels, jewellery scrap, finishing baths, and many more solutions.

With emew’s suite of technologies, you can simplify and automate your silver operation from recovery to refining, with significantly lower operating costs and higher returns compared to conventional electrorefining. This completely enclosed system integrates into existing metal production facilities, producing high-purity silver from a range of streams and byproducts, as well as the immediate releasing gold and PGMs in silver feed, with lower silver inventories and less working capital.

Beyond the recovery of core metals like copper and silver, emew technology is also capable of recovering a variety of other valuable metals, including tin, gold, nickel, cobalt, cadmium, palladium, platinum, and lead. These metals are often found in complex waste streams, and their recovery is crucial for minimizing environmental impact and maximizing resource efficiency.

Our advanced emew electrowinning systems are designed to handle diverse and challenging streams, offering a scalable, closed-loop solution that recovers these metals in high purity. Whether you’re dealing with electronic waste, industrial residues, or other metal-laden materials, our technology can help you convert waste into valuable resources, reduce your environmental footprint, and enhance your operational efficiency.
