Senior Manager - Process (India)

Reporting to the Vice President – Engineering you will make a valuable contribution as a team player to the organization’s success in developing opportunities and fulfillment of projects and development of systems. You will be based in Vadodara, Gujarat.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Basic Engineering – Design Basis Development, PFD, P&ID, Mass Balance, Energy Balance, Equipment list, hydrometallurgical equipment sizing, Utility flow diagram, and list
  • Detailed Engineering – Process specifications sheets, Line list, layout review, review of instrument list & instrument specifications in line with process requirement, Preparation of operation manual, and process troubleshooting
  • Review of technical proposals from the suppliers, preparation of technical bid evaluation report, qualification of vendor bids technically, and signing off on technical proposals (liaising with VP, engineering)
  • Technical coordination with the client for engineering submittals on the project
  • Key member role in developing new processes and improving the emew System
  • Technical support function to sales for application engineering activities and conceptual drawings and feasibility design documents
  • Technical support function to project fulfillment team for engineering documents and support on technical discussion with suppliers
  • Coordination with all concerned departments with Engineering
  • Coordination with external agencies/consultants for structural design and drawings, piping engineering consultants, and other engineering disciplines as per the requirement of the client and order received
  • Safety review of existing emew plants and new systems
  • Other duties as deemed appropriate

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor/Master of Engineering (Chemical or Metallurgy)
  • Experience of 8-15 years in mining, metals, and recycling treatment of non-ferrous metals. OEM experience with a hydrometallurgy technology company is preferred. Experience with EPCs or Engineering consultants working with metal refining plants is preferred
  • Experience in hydrometallurgy plant operations is added advantage
  • Ability to travel frequently with a full unrestricted passport. Travelling might be at the client’s site
  • Small team management experience
  • The ability to engage with clients and build strong relationships. Demonstrable creativity in solving customer problems
  • Proven track record in the process and project handling

Engineering Manager - Mechanical (India)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development of drawing for parts/system for drafting
  • Review and approve all drawings before issue for quotation/manufacturing
  • Review of drawings received from the supplier and approve for manufacturing
  • Review and comment on all Engineering documents and drawings – Design Basis Development, PFD, P&ID, Mass Balance, Energy Balance, Equipment list, Equipment sizing, Utility flow diagram and list, detailed Engineering – Process specifications sheets, Line list, layout review, review of instrument list & instrument specifications in line with Process/piping /hook up requirement, Review of operation manual and process troubleshooting
  • Document control from Engineering
  • Preparation of Bill of Material and issue with document list to fulfilment for quotations.
  • Technical review of quotations requested from Fulfilment
  • Technical coordination with a client for engineering
  • Key member role in developing new processes and improving the emew System
  • Technical support function to Sales for pre-sales activities
  • Technical support function to project fulfilment team for engineering documents and support on technical discussion with suppliers
  • Coordination with all concerned departments with Engineering
  • Coordination with external agencies/consultants for structural design and drawings, piping engineering consultants, and other engineering streams as per the requirement of the client and order received
  • Safety review of existing emew system and new systems
  • Other duties as deemed appropriate

Project Engineer (UAE)

Reporting to the General Manager- Projects you will make a valuable contribution as a team player to the organization’s success in developing opportunities and fulfilment of project and development. You will be based in Dubai, UAE.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project management of emew metal recovery systems and auxiliary equipment
  • Responsible for holding Kick of Meeting, Project Scheduling, Project Planning, ITPs and timely updating customers on the progress of the projects via progress reports
  • Review of order / contract from client in coordination with sales and engineering teams
  • Responsible for execution of order / contract from receipt to completion of order till get client completion certificate / last payment receipt
  • Responsible to liaison with engineering team for Engineering (PFD, P&ID, Mass Balance, Energy Balance, Equipment list, Equipment sizing, Utility flow diagram and material list) as part of completion of order
  • Liaising with the multi-disciplinary project team of the customer and work with emew team members/suppliers to close all project hold points arising during execution of the projects
  • Liaison with procurement team for ordering of items as per material list and technical specifications agreed with the customer as part of the contract
  • Responsible for developing new vendors and owning relationships with existing vendors. Managing vendors for smooth functioning of the supply chain
  • Well-versed with the logistics requirement of a multi-national fulfillment supply chain and understands the nitty-gritties of import duty, custom requirements and other such regulations involved in movement of goods across the globe
  • Responsible to do follow up & get delivery of parts / equipment once procurement team commercially release order
  • Evaluating the quality management systems of the vendors and defining inspection test points to ensure highest quality standards for emew supplied systems
  • Responsible for supervision of installation & commissioning of plants globally to client’s satisfaction with the final certificate of acceptance for final payment

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree in mechanical or process discipline with 5-10 years of experience in project management
  • Experience working with global OEMs handling supply of large technology plants/ skid equipment is considered necessary. Experience in mining, metal refining, recycling of non-ferrous metals, Oil&Gas is preferred but is not a necessary requirement
  • Management of multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians
  • Ability to travel frequently with a full unrestricted passport, Travelling might be at client site
  • Small team management experience
  • The ability to engage with clients and build strong relationships. Demonstrable creativity in solving customer problems
  • Proven track record in process and project handling
